The Abandoned Cottage is a Location in This War Of Mine which is often the first location visited by a player because of it's safety rating.
Description[]
There is usually one rat. There are rubble piles and locked chests, so the player should bring along tools to properly loot the Abandoned Cottage in a timely manner. There are no NPCs, so the player can use a crowbar instead of a lock pick to save the lock picks for situations that require stealth. There are no barred doors requiring a saw. Bring a hatchet to chop down all the furniture during cold days.This is recommended as it is a way to safely gather wood and fuel.
Variations[]
There are 2 known variations, notable difference is one contains a 'hidden' broken handgun which isn't revealed until a note is read, indicating a broken gun was buried in the yard.
