Description[]

The Scoped Rifle is a military assault rifle, fitted with a scope. It is a very powerful gun that should be used in distance.

Stats[]

Compared to the Pistol, Shotgun, and Assault Rifle the Scoped Rifle stats are:

  • Bullet Damage: High
  • Damage Per Second: Medium
  • Accuracy: High
  • Range: High
  • Speed: Low
  • Overview: Despite being a rare one-of-a-kind weapon, its usefulness in combat is questionable. Its range and knockback makes it effective for one-on-one combat, and it uses less ammo than a standard assault rifle.

Weapon Facts[]

It fires in a semi-automatic rate, which is much slower than the standard assault rifle.
Higher damage per shot than standard assault rifle but lower DPS.
Enemies are momentarily knocked back when shot.
It can be acquired in the Construction Site, through looting the corpse of the slain sniper.
This weapon can only be acquired if the sniper variant scenario of the construction site spawns or chosen by player in the custom mode. If the other soldier scenario spawns (or if the construction site map does not spawn at all), it will be unable to obtain the scoped assault rifle at all.

Acquisition[]

The scoped assault rifle can only be obtained at the Construction Site, and only in the sniper variant scenario only. It is equipped by the sniper himself, thus the only method of acquisition is killing him and looting his corpse. His spotter is equipped with an Assault Rifle, while both does not possess any protective gear. If engaged, the sniper will usually attempt to retreat enough distance to fire while the backup soldier will engage with the butt of his assault rifle. Backstab is a viable option, and it is recommended to dispatch the spotter first, followed up with melee or shotgun attack against the sniper himself. Arica's Sneaks Quietly can make her a good choice for this. Roman's Trained in Combat can also be handy for this.
